2. ” Just coffee” is something that does not exist
If you get into a coffee shop and just order coffee, then you will get an espresso or a latte and a strange look. The British have filtered coffee occasionally. If you want to have normal coffee, you will have to prepare it at home. The girls who were interested to have some coffee here had to go to a few other stores to find the filters for the ground coffee.
3. They do not like Americans
British are not too fond of the Americans. It is not that they do not like American politics or they resent the fact that today in place of the British, the Americans are number 1, but the actual fact is that the British considers the Americans absolutely crazy. They find them crazy because Americans believe in hard work, God and family. They also find the Americans crazy because they are crazy and most of the times they are also highly optimistic. The Americans are extremely busy and are always rushing and this makes the British consider them crazy. Americans are also much happier whereas the Brits consider life to be much more bitter.
4. Brits are not too fond of hard work
No one likes to work hard, however, the Americans believe that if they work hard, they will be able to get a good future, a better job and finally a better life. If you work hard now, you will be able to chill out much more later. If you work hard and show dedication, then you will get a raise or a promotion. For Americans, if you work hard, you will be able to move up in life. But for the British, it is not the case. To do well in life, you do not have to be hardworking. The best example for this is the lack of customer service in the stores. If you are in need of help in a British store, then you will have to wait. The customer service officer will first complete the task that he is doing and after that he will help you. This is probably due to the fact that the working class were so much oppressed at one point of time, that they lost the hope of leading a happy life.
